I have installed Sierra Chart version 2513 64-bit. How can I leave the "Enable Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" option permanently enabled? Every time I open the Sierra Chart program I have to manually enable the option again. I have followed the steps indicated in the attached official link, but it does not enable the option permanently. Order Allocation to Trade Accounts |

This is a security item. We always err on the cautious side, and forcing you to have to reenable this option ensures that you are aware that the orders are going to be copied to the other accounts.

Can we get an option to permanently enable the allocation? So that those of us that are aware we are copying trades to multiple accounts don't need to set it up on every restart? This is a pretty significant inconvenience for those that know what they are doing.

agree with the above user. we should at least have the option, where this was a default behavior in versions prior.

I agree on the option to permanently enable. Especially since this was the default behavior previously. After I upgraded I placed a trade where it was not enabled because of the change and only one account executed. Missed opportunity. Thanks! Mike

Also want an option to permanently enable. We can handle the "security" risk. Just missed out on a large trade because of it.

As a user of this feature, I would love to see it on the Trade Window like we do with say the BE button -- to easily see that is either enabled or not. I know in a past post it was being considered, it would be great to not have this in a sub-menu of the Trade Window sub-menu.

The option is in the "Trade >> General Trade Settings" and is called "Disable Order Allocation to Trade Accounts on Chartbook Opening" and is set to "Yes" by default.

@John Just a heads up that I think there might be something wrong with the new version. I just updated. I have an older version open and comparing it directly to the new one. The data streaming it seems to be way slower, even when comparing a brand new chart freshly opened chart on both versions. I'm comparing against v2523 (faster, older version) and v2525 (slower, the latest install). The clock listed on the newest version's chart is around 30 seconds behind the older version as well. Anything I can do to help quantify/diagnose that for you? |

@John I just went back to the newest version, and I noticed when I checked my trade server/account settings, it was switched from Chicago to Mumbai. (Trading with Apex via Rithmic). Maybe the update caused the trade connection settings to get modified? Or maybe it is Rithmic being silly (although I'm only using Apex/Rithmic for trading, not for data, but not sure Mumbai being selected was/is causing the issue)? I don't really understand how my server could change from Chicago to Mumbai though. I've never selected that before. Final edit: I am on Linux w/ Wine, and it looks like there's another thread showing that there are data issues. That's unfortunate. Glad I updated at the end of the day! Can disregard my above posts. Thanks for adding this feature though! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-07-21 20:48:13

We were going to ask if this was a Linux/Wine issue. As to the change of the server, our best guess would be that Rithmic may have changed the order of the information in their list, as we get the list from them. But most likely we just store the number of the server that is selected (I can't say for sure without looking at the code, but it would be the most common way to do this), in which case if they added something above, or changed the order, then although we are selecting the same server that was present at that position, it is now different. Again, we are just guessing, but it is the most likely situation we can think of (Occam's Razor). The server name is stored, not the index number.
