[Programming Help] - Loosing pending position

This morning I had a pending position/seller offer for 10 contracts at 4416. The system pulled me down to the first available position at 4409. I immediately lost 7 points x4 = 28 ticks x $12.50 e-mini S&P 500 = $350 x 10 contacts =$3,500. Please confirm if my calculations are correct. If it is, then this approach is not safe at all. Is it any way to secure my pending position? Thanks in advance 👋
