Trade Window does not calculate NPL correctly and there were no open trades at 1800 hours

Hello, this had not happened before I made a trade several hours ago and then the NPL total did not reflect the previous trades that day only the new trade. The Trade Activity Log is correct except the Chart Stats page. The Trades Page and Statistics Page are accurate. I’ve deleted the chart and reloaded and recalculated data and restarted the application and it still is not correct. When the new day started at 1800 est., I thought it would reset itself back to zero. All trades were closed before 1800. But it still shows the prior profit total in the NPL field. I closed the program and deleted the MNQU3.CME symbol and the previous NPL is still displayed, the new trade I made a few minutes ago just adds or subtracts from the inaccurate NPL total. I read your documentation and tried Global Settings > Chart Trade Settings and then changed the Include Open P/L in Chart/Trade DOM P/L Display (NPL) from Yes to No and that did not change anything except it had the same incorrect total with DPL instead of NPL so I changed it back to the default. In Rithmic Trader everything is accurate, currently and prior to 1800. |

Update: I don’t know when this occurred, I was away from the computer, but the Trade Window on the MNQU3.cme chart now displays NPL 0.00C and not the inaccurate total from my previous message or the new trades tonight that should have a $74.00 NPL (not counting commissions). The Statistics page and the Trades page are still accurate but the Charts Stats page shows the same zero total for the symbol.

I had to change: Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading >> Start Time for Trades List to 18:00 to get it to work correctly. Some of the other charts did not have to have that set to 18:00, the default was 00:00:00 and the Trade Window still calculated NPL correctly. Thanks for your help. |
