This might be a little out there conceptually but, I run an spreadsheet trading system and on that system I have 2 things I toggle depending on environment.

Right now, I do this with a 1 or 2 value in a cell.
What I would like to be able to do is to setup a hotkey to switch values.
For example, if I could get some kind of trade quantity, I could use that value to drive the settings of one of the cells.

Ideally, I would be able to add a study that is connected to some kind of custom hotkey or a study that has hotkey detention slots in it.

Essentially, the hotkey could drive some null value that is only read and used by the spreadsheet.
Perhaps the use is too niche but I wanted to toss the idea out there.

Maybe there is a value currently that is picked up by a study that I could use to drive the spreadsheet?
Not sure.

I wasn't able to find anything that offered the ability to read any user input other than some of the trading studies but those are offered as a way to read current open positions and closed PnL type data and not something I could use to pre-emptily drive a trading system.
