Hello: I want to tab through multiple chartbooks in order to view end of data on equities. One chartbook would have 3 charts; monthly, weekly and daily. Only indicators on charts would be 6 moving averages and volume; so not much draw on CPU. I wish to view and tab through quickly about 400 stocks. Would I have to have 400 chartbooks, and is there a limit on the number of chartbooks? I would tab through these chartbooks very quickly using a hot key. I would use a new instance of Sierra charts in order not to interfere with my day trading charts. I would set all chartbooks to open with the new instance. Can this be done? Is this the best way to do this? Is there a better way? Thanks for any responses. |

Yes, there is a better way. If the 400 chartbooks are all copies of each other and differ only by the symbol, then you can use a Quote Board and one Chartbook. File>>New Quote Board This allows you to click on any symbol and have the chart load it. You can import your list of equities from a text file. |
