Hello Support Team, on updating to current version I receive the following error message: Sierra Chart Setup > Error opening file for writing: C:\SierraChart\SierraChart.exe click Abort to stop the installation, Retry to try again, or Ignore to skip this file. Please refer to the screenshot under https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5931986/sierra%20chart%20error%20message.png Either way the old installation would not be updated. It is the first time in years me receiving this message. Nothing has changed with my computer configuration What does this message mean? What can I do to update the SC installation. Thank you for your advice, Best, Chris |

This means that Sierra Chart is running. You will need to exit from it . If you cannot see it running, then go into the Windows Task Manager and terminate the SierraChart.exe process. You can then proceed to update Sierra Chart again.
