1) I have set up Bid ask volume numbers bar and wanted to know if i could display a diagonal bid x ask imbalance difference using a different color text in the same column ? So that the color of the text in the same column of the bid x ask volume is different if the imbalance conditions apply ? 2) Is there a way to potentially display such an imbalance on the Trade DOM ? 3) How can i display one or more lines if an imbalance condition is met (for example a 2 or 3 stacked imbalances ?) How would i set up an alert condition for this ? Thank you SPL |

1. If you set the following, then you will be able to color the dominant side a particular color based on the percentage of the ratio of the Bid and Ask: - Numbers Bars Text: Bid Vol x Ask Vol - Text Coloring Method: Based on Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage - Column 1 Percent Compare Thresholds: 1, 2, 3 The particular percentage values will be up to you. But we put in 1, 2, 3 to point out that the percentages are the ratio of the Bid/Ask or Ask/Bid. Also, there are other choices for how you want to determine the coloring of the text if the percentage is not what you want. Refer to the information in the following section: Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars Text Coloring Methods 2. No. The Trade DOM does not have the concept of "bars" and therefore you can not display that kind of information on it. 3. Refer to the following study that has what you want (note the section on the bottom on Stacked Imbalances): Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
