Hi, I exported my spreadsheet data as a .txt file and opened it in Excel choosing delimited, tab, general settings however my data in columns m through P where I have formulas are not showing data. Two columns are showing the formulas and the other two columns have "#Value". Is there anything I can do to get this data to show in an excel spreadsheet? The formulas in Sierra are working accurately. Thanks for your help. |

You would have to look at the text file to first ensure that what you are seeing in Excel matches the text file. If the text file does not have the correct information, then how did you export the information?

Hi John, I checked the text file and it is showing that formulas are being exported from the spreadsheet. In the sierra spreasheet the formulas show as numbers but when exported to a txt file they show as formulas that have no functionality in excel. Is there any way to export the formulas in the sierra spreadsheet as number only? |

Hi John, I was using the instructions in the support guide. I go to file save as, choose my directory to save, and save as a .txt file. The columns with formulas are exporting as formulas and not numbers. The one solution I thought of is to copy the column of numbers in the Sierra spreadsheet to a new column as values. I would prefer not to do this since it creates more work to analyze data. Also, this is only happening on formula data not data referencing study ids. Any ideas would be appreciated. |

We will be updating the save of the Spreadsheet so it will allow you to save out the values. It may take a few days for us to get this done and then released (maybe a week). The only option at the moment is to copy and paste the cells from the Sierra Chart spreadsheet to Excel. Hi John, Thanks a lot for getting back to me - that's great news. Once this feature is updated will I need to get onto the latest version of Sierra? Also, I'll put a note in my calendar to check in at the end of next week to check status. Thanks, Scott |

We cannot make a promise as to the timing of this. It still may be quite some time before we can get to it.
