Recently we have had reports where there is no DLL file generated when using the built-in compiler accessed through Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL. We have confirmed this problem after we deleted the previous compiler installed and reinstalled it. What we discovered after some testing, that the source of this problem is because the zlib package is not getting installed with the compiler. We now make sure this package is installed. If you have the problem where a DLL file is not getting created, the easiest procedure to solve the problem is to do the following: -Delete the C:\SierraChart\CPPCompiler folder. -Select Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL from within Sierra Chart. -Press the Install Compiler button. -Wait for the compiler to be downloaded and installed. -Build your custom studies DLL from your source code.
