Hi, I set my AMP Sub account to zero, and only use my main acccount but still have my sub account. Now when logging in to my SC I get " Connection error message from service: CQG WebAPI/Logon unseccesful. Sever message: Your logon is disabled. Contact your FCM" I only use Sierra Chart for charting not trading, therefore I thought I could set my sub account to zero, bc the money there was useless. Now it seems I need to maintian it, question now: Do I need CQG Order routing only (bc I have CQG WebAPI) or do I need the Teton (Sierra Chart) with my sub account (AMP asking me for my sierra chart account name/username)? I paid everything through Sierra Chart! Thanks |

We are very confused by this. If you still have a valid account with AMP setup to use CQG, then you should be able to login without any issue and have access to that account. If there was a sub-account that is no longer available, then that should just no longer show up as a selectable option on your Trade Window. It sounds like AMP may have completely turned off your CQG account. We certainly do recommend using the Teton Order Routing for trading the CME Group. If you are also trading EUREX, then you would need to use CQG for those orders. But, you also state that you do not use Sierra Chart for trading, so you would just need to be able to connect Sierra Chart to your AMP account in order to qualify for the non-professional CME exchange fees. Let us know what you want to do and we will work through it with you. Our recommendation would be to use Teton for your CME trading and then CQG for EUREX. You would end up with two different accounts to do this, and you would need two separate installations of Sierra Chart, but there is no extra cost on our end for this setup. Additionally, you would save about $0.10 per trade with the CME as our Teton order routing does not charge anything for the order routing. If you want to do this, then follow the instructions at the following link to install a second Sierra Chart on the same computer: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart And you will have to talk to AMP to get setup with them. Is it possible to use Teton for CME and EUREX? Bc you mentioned above: "We certainly do recommend using the Teton Order Routing for trading the CME Group. If you are also trading EUREX, then you would need to use CQG for those orders." This sounds as Teton only supports CME but not EUREX!? If so I will subscribe for CQG, bc having both and installing another SC on my computer, as well as subscribing and setup two data feed with AMP on one sub account sounds too complicated! |

The Teton Order Routing Service only works with the CME Group. We do not have support for EUREX.
