When enabling "extend DOM Across chart" for trading using ctrl/alt, if I want to place an order multiple times at once price, I will get an order modification error on the chart (presumably because it's a modified order that has no price change). However, placing multiple orders at one price on the DOM itself is no issue. Is it possible to disable order modification using the chart while CTRL/ALT is being held down?

As a workaround, what you can do is to set the Trade Drawings to display on the right, or at least change the percentage so they are not as far to the left. Then when you click on the chart to the left of the drawings, it will not be seen as a modification, but will enter a new order. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Align Trade Drawings Text to Right (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#TradeDrawingsLeftAlignPercent For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
