I am wondering if there is any efficient way to keep a large number of intraday .scid files updates, without having a chart open for each. For example, if I want to keep the .scid files up-to-date for the front 12 months of several contracts, currently I am opening a small chart for each one, which takes a lot of manual work. Now to add spreads on top of that, the number can become unmanageable. I thought perhaps the quote board or quote spreadsheet might be a solution, as you can easily input a large number of symbols. But it appears that opening a file with these does not update .scid files, unless I am missing something. Nor can I find any other method by searching the forums. Is there some existing way to keep a large number of .scid files up-to-date? If not, would it be possible to add some option to the quote board, spreadsheet, etc. to allow a tracked symbol to write to these? |

Refer to the following: Global Settings Menu: Intraday File Update List (Global Settings menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks, this feature is very helpful. One request for improvement: it would be another huge time-saver if you could add to the file update list a symbol pattern, like "6M?##_FUT_CME" instead of adding each individual contract, supposing you want to keep the files updated for every listed contract of the given symbol.
