Dear Team, I'd like to know if Denali Tenton has servers in Asian countries, such as Hong Kong or Japan. I'm currently trading CME futures in Hong Kong and am looking for a low-latency solution. Right now, I'm using the CQG data feed, which works well because they have a server set up in Hong Kong. However, I'm considering switching to the Tenton data feed. Could you please share which solution might be the best for optimizing latency issues? |

This will not help. Since Teton is for US futures. It will not help to have a server in Asia. That will only actually significantly increase latency for you even if you notice a lower ping time. The best connectivity will always be achieved by directly connecting to a server in the United States. Involving another server, increases latency, and increases the potential for connectivity issues.

Thank you very much for your response. So, currently the best solution is to use the data feed of Tenton, right? The reason why I asked this question is that I have compared the data of Rithmic and CQG before. Rithmic should be faster than CQG, but in my experience, the Rithmic data often disconnects or has high latency, so I wonder if it is because CQG performs better due to the presence of servers in Hong Kong. According to what you said, does it mean that the real-time market data feed by Tenton should perform better than CQG, even if there is a delay? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-04-24 05:39:43

Yes using Teton would be the best solution. We can give you an example. Trading Technologies, has multiple FIX servers in different geographical locations. We have found, that the lowest latency for CME order routing is to use their Aurora Illinois located server. Whenever we would route orders through another server for CME, latency would increase multiple times beyond the usual latency that would be encountered going from the user's location to Aurora. We do not think having the presence in Hong Kong makes a difference. You are using our Denali data now. So how does that perform for you? If it performs well, then you will not have any issues with Teton order routing. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
