Is there a way to allow moving the chart vertically & horizontally with Hand Tool but disabling vertical scaling when Ctrl key is pressed? Many times when I want to copy a drawing element using Ctrl key I instead end up accidentally changing the vertical scaling. |

You can "kind of" do this. If you have your Scale Settings setup such that "Interactive Scale Move" is your default, then when holding the CTRL key, the scaling uses "Interactive Scale Range". Then, when you hold down the "CTRL" key with the Hand tool, the vertical movement will not move the chart, but will change the range. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Interactive Scaling Otherwise, the other option is to set the option for Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Support Vertical Scaling/Movement with Hand Tool to No to stop the hand tool from changing the vertical position. Refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Support Vertical Scaling/Movement With Hand Tool (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
