Hello Sierra Chart, Is it possible to specify the number of decimal points on a Region basis? I have referred to "Setting the Value Format for a Study on the Chart" in the following link which doesn't appear to be a solution: Changing the Price/Value Display Format I would like Region #1 to retain two decimal points while Region #2 has zero decimal points (see attached for current scale). Thank you |

You absolutely can have different "Value Formats" for different regions. For the Main Price Graph (typically in Region 1) this is set by Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Price Display Format and for other regions it is set by the first graph in that region through the Value Format setting on the Study Settings window. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Price Display Format (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Value Format Again, as noted above, the trick to defining the Value Format in a region is that it is the first graph in the list of Studies going down from the top, within that region that defines the format. Hello John, Thank you for this and highlighting the nuance of selecting the first study within the respective region. |
