Hello, I am in the process of transferring from my trading to my new computer and no longer using my old computer for trading. I am currently in live trades on my old computer and when I pull everything up on my new computer, sierra charts is showing different entry points and profit loss than my old comper where the original trades were placed. Can you please help Thank you so much.

Our servers are showing that you are using CQG for your trading. CQG does not keep the historical order fill information around for very long, so it would be surprising if you were able to get them from CQG into your new computer. Did you do anything special to get the information into the new computer? And is the new computer set the same Service as the old computer (i.e. CQG)? No, I didn't do anything special. I copied my chart book from my old computer and sent it to my new computer via email and then connected my data feed service same service.

I tried both of those links, and they were not helpful. Any other options?

It is very hard for us to say exactly what is occurring, but it sounds like you are missing an order fill here or there. The way to deal with this at this point, is to set a date and time when you are flat in the market for which the order fills will then be used to determine your Profit and Loss. Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
