I don't mean to set off any heated debates as I think Sierra is great. But if there was one thing I'd love to find a solution to it is the long delay that occurs when switching from say a 5 min chart to a 15 min chart (same symbol) and back again. On most charting platforms, you click 5 minute and the chart is loaded almost instantly. Also, when switching-toggling from "Use Evening/Full Session" this takes a really long time, where it doesn't on other platforms. I've tried using "Intraday File Update List" (Global Settings) and that doesn't seem to help either. If Sierra is keeping the downloaded data on my hard drive, the data should be instantly available to Sierra to replot the chart it had open earlier. The only workaround I have found is to have every chart time frame open at the same time: (1 min) (5 min) (15 min) (1 Hr) . . . If I have use this technique for ES (Chartbook1), NQ (Chartbook2), Gold (Chartbook3), WTI(Chartbook4), etc, Sierra becomes very heavy. I think there must be a solution as I have not found this topic discussed anywhere. As for my hardware: Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Ram 128GB Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT I want to have fewer charts open and just click the time frame I want to see and have it instantly show up. I want to toggle between RTH and ETH with instant response. Are these things possible? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-04-09 21:26:15
