AMP customer with denali feed and CQG need really help

Dear SierraChart Support,

I am writing to request your assistance with updating my SierraChart software to the latest version. I have a custom study from a friend that requires the latest version, but I am still using an older version due to issues with my Denali data feed, CQG, and AMP account.

As an AMP USA customer, I connect to CQG via SierraChart, but I am unsure of what steps I need to take to update my software without losing my connection to my brokerage account. I am hoping you can provide me with guidance on how to update my SierraChart software while remaining an AMP customer and without compromising my current data feed.

I primarily trade on EUREX, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in helping me to use SierraChart like the majority of its users. Thank you for your help.

The only thing you will need to do, when you update, is to get your data for EUREX (and CME Group, if you are getting that data as well) from our Denali Exchange Data Feed rather than from CQG. The costs will be nearly the same, as you can stop the CQG data (unless you are using it for something else).

Start by following the instructions at the following link to setup the EUREX data:

If you also need data from the CME Group, then also go through these instructions to get that data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Once you have these completed, then check the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds and ensure this is set to Yes. If not, then change it to Yes and then select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed. After this, you will be getting the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed rather than from CQG.

At this point, you can update your software using the following instructions:

Hi John,
Thank you for your response.
Let me summarize:
I need to go to AMP and stop the data with CQG. After that, I need to get the data from you. This won't affect my trading account, as I can still place trades, etc.
If it's really that easy, then I wonder why I'm still bothering with CQG. I'll follow your guidance, and if I have any trouble, I'll get back to you.
