Even when I select an alert to go off once per bar it goes off every time it crossed the trigger, which can be many times if price is chopping for a bit and with multiple alerts it becomes a hindrance rather than a help. How do I get them to alert once per bar? Many Thanks

Just make sure you have Alert Only Once per Bar enabled: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#AlertOptions Go to Window >> Show/Hide Alerts Manager >> Alerts Log. Do you see 2 alerts for the same study instance for the same bar, when you have Alert Only Once per Bar enabled? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
