Hello,

I have attached screenshots of the Trade Orders Window for clarity.

I have been using the native trade copy feature to trade multiple accounts via Rithmic. Rithmic account #5 is the parent and Rithmic accounts #6-#10 are the child accounts. Everything has worked well until tonight. Suddenly, Sim1 through Sim10, and Rithmic accounts #11 and #12 began receiving orders as children, despite not being linked to the parent account. The orders on Rithmic accounts #11 and #12, according to the Trade Order window, "timed out" yet they were still sent to Rithmic and created an open P/L.

Put simply, I am curious about two issues:

1. How are Sim1-Sim10 accounts trading while "Trade Simulation Mode" is unchecked?
2. Based on the time, it appears that the Sim accounts are trading alongside Rithmic accounts #11 and #12, despite those accounts not being linked or charted anywhere--how is this possible?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated--thank you!

This is not possible. You must have these accounts listed as accounts to have orders allocated to, for the chart being traded from. Refer to:
Order Allocation to Trade Accounts

1, 2. A simulation account identifier listed as an account in the order allocation to trade accounts interface can still be used even if not in Trade Simulation Mode.

Thank you! For anyone else that may have this problem, I had to disconnect and reconnect to the data/trading service for accounts #11-#12 to re-appear. You were correct, all of the Sim accounts were also still in the list. I have deleted them from the account list to prevent this issue.

Lastly, is there any insight as to why the orders were "timed out waiting fir response from service/exchange server"?

Thanks again

The timeout occurs when an order is submitted to the trading server and there is no response for it. It should have been rejected.
