At the web page at the link below which discusses the Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing, in the section under "Setup Instructions", in the image which shows the Data/Trade Service Settings, there is a line which says Intraday Download Interval for Non Realtime Symbols. What is a typical setting for that and what does that setting affect? Should that setting be a smaller number if we are trading very small time frames, or not necessarily? That setting is set to 30 in the image at the following link. Is that a normal setting that works well for most people?
thanks

That setting does not apply if the symbol will receive streaming real-time or delayed data. Otherwise, it controls the time that historical data is downloaded for these other symbols. And you can normally set that 10 or 20 minutes. It is up to you. For most people it really would not be relevant since it is not applicable to symbols you would be using.
