Please consider the following which can be found in almost every other charting package: Cross Hairs: (see update 1 & 2) Ability to show cross hairs with all tools. Ability for cross hairs to be seen on all charts (same symbol). Hovering over one chart with cross hairs, should NOT make other charts scroll to that position, simply show the horizonal OR vertical OR no hairs as appropriate for the unhovered chart's focus. Pointer: (see update 2) What is the purpose of the pointer? Or what is the purpose of the hand? What is the purpose of the chart values tool? Combine these tools. Pointer click, selects whatever is currently highlighted. Pointer click and hold, grabs to move whatever is under the pointer, such as drawings or the chart. Chart values are shown with all tools. Adjust region Tool: Why do I need to select a different tool to adjust my chart regions? This functionality should be included in the pointer tool. When click and hold the region separator (visible or not) adjust the region. Horizontal Line Tools: Include all options in a single tool. Extend right, extend left, extend neither. A user could then use the Tool Configuration buttons if they wanted to save settings as defaults. TC1 - Extend Right and Left. TC2 Extend Right, TC3 no extensions. Tool Bar Configuration: Allow multiple separators in a row. I'm trying to add tools to logical groups but the current separator doesn't "separate" the groups enough for my eye. Volume Bars (time based): (See reply from User431178) Why are these bars not the same width as the candles? Zoom in, the volume bars and candles both get larger (same zoom). Chart Element Data Feedback: Allow the compact tools value box to remain visible at all times and provide feedback over the hovered element with all tools (wherever the mouse is show data for that element). Hover over chart element popup containing element specific data. Hover over volume bar, show volume. Hover over price bar, show OHLC, time, volume. Etc. Maybe I'm missing how to set up the above. Update 1: I found how to prevent the unhovered charts from scrolling. Tools > Synchronize Charts > Deselect Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-03-26 13:36:41

Update 2: I found how to essentially create the desired cross hair and pointer setting I want. Global Settings > Tool Settings > Chart Values > Action When Other Tools Selected to Always On when Using Other Tools. The above applies the cross hairs to the hand tool. The hand tool also works as described above for clicking, click and drag. With the Cross Hairs / Chart Values applied I get the functionality requested. Now all I need to do is remove the pointer and the chart values tools from the tool bar (which I know how to do). Question: Am I missing some functional purpose of the pointer and chart values tools now that I have configured as described? Volume Bar and hover pop up are still unresolved for me. Thanks. |

Thanks User431178. The Volume bar tip is helpful. Any idea how to adjust the spacing between the Fill to Zero bars? Currently they are all touching, which makes it difficult to "read".
