This a general DLL trust question:
Can a third party dll be written so that if activated, the dll could access a users account information?
Are the DLL's that are activated with "Sierra Chart credentials" firewalled in anyway?

and
Are there any threats possible from using third party dlls? Can you elaborate?

What specific account information?

Certainly a DLL can contain all kinds of threats. It has full access to the operating system. It can even submit orders into your trading account if Sierra Chart is connected to a trading service, but you can disable that through locking trading and putting Sierra Chart into Trade Simulation Mode.

In general though the Sierra Chart community is not a place where malicious DLLs are going to be present.
