From some time I'm experiencing slowing down of Sierra due to long term intraday chart.

If I open multiple DOM, heatmaps Footprint charts at the same time even during the first hour of RTH when everything is very fast all goes smoothly and very fluid, these charts are showing a lot of data at the same time but everything works fine.

On the other hand if I open just an intraday chart (eg. 15min chart, or a volume based chart) with volume profile (daily and composite) that goes back a couple of year this cause me that everything slows down and also the DOMs strart to go jerky....
I don't urderstand, the long term charts, ok they need some time to be opened, and that's ok, but once opened I really dont' understand why they burden the system so much.... I've also set the volume profile grouped at 4 ticks... a bit better but not so much, I use different instances, things are a bit better but still not enough...

The machine is not new but it is a i7 with 16Gb Ram but I think it should be enough..
The issue are the long term chart.. any idea how it can be solved?
tks regards

Do these long-term charts have any Chart Drawings on them? You can check that through Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window.

Do they have any studies on them?

Try removing studies and Chart Drawings from them and see if that solves the problem.

You can remove these, and then save the Chartbook under a different name so as not to disrupt the original Chartbook.

Tks for the suggestions.
Actually I deleted all drawings and indicators one by one and didn't find any specific responsible for the slowing...

But surprisingly, I remade the same chart by scratch with all the same indicators and now it works fine it doesn't burden the other charts any more, even with the volume profile set at 1 tick! ... may be they where old may be duplicated by other charts who knows?

Is there a specific reason for it? or something to take into account?
tks
