slow chart loading times

every time i start up my workspace in the morning or if i switch a chart from RTH to 24hr time frame it takes well over a minute for it to load because it has to calculate every single futures month it seems ("loading ESM3, ESU4..."). am i doing something wrong by not having all that already permanently downloaded or???

Historical data that already exists within a chart data file, is not downloaded again. what specifically about it? there are 29 bullet points. do you believe your charts should load in less time than a minute or is my wait normal?

Should be much less than a minute. However, there are so many different variables involved it is hard to say. Your own system can have a major effect upon chart loading times.
