Resting Orders not executing

Hi there I am trying to do an experiment (on sim) - forward testing a strategy, I am leaving multiple resting bracket orders on my TPO chart, I have to work so I leave these to execute as and when the market goes through them. Yesterday the market went through 5 orders or so without executing and the resting orders were just sat there still, the market traded back through them and still didn't execute. Today I have come back to my computer - the market has went through my resting orders, took them all off my TPO chart but there was nothing on the p&l or in the trade log. Why would this be happening? it always works when I'm at my desk unless the market moves super fast, even then they still execute, just the fills are out, which is to be expected anyway. Is it something to do with my computer going to sleep? Many thanks in advance Greg |

If your computer is going to sleep, then that definitely would be the issue. Sierra Chart has to be running in order for the orders to properly fill in Simulation Mode. When trading Live, the orders are sent to the exchange, so your computer does not need to be running. The same is true for the Simulated Futures Trading Service as the orders are kept on our servers. But in the case of Simulation Mode, everything is controlled through the local software, so if it is not running, nothing will happen.
