Support, I may be doing something incorrectly; would you be able to help? 1. From the Trade DOM I click on a price to place a “buy limit order”. 2. But the limit order gets placed at several prices below my intended buy limit order. I’m in “simulation mode”. I’m using Sierra Charts ver 2484. The “sell limit order” works as expected. See attached screenshot. Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried: Shutting down and restarting Sierra Chart Disconnecting from the data feed, and then reconnecting to the data feed. Let me know what I may be doing wrong, and thank you for your help with this. |

A "Buy Limit" placed above the current price will fill at the market price, as that is considered a better price than where you wanted the order. You would need to use a Buy Stop Limit order to have it wait until the price gets to that level. Refer to the Order Type here: Order Types: Stop-Limit For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
