I created an intraday chart by downloading intraday data from a text file containing 3 minute bar data over several years. I recently updated the intraday chart by downloading more bar data and the intraday chart is no longer showing intraday bars, but is only showing daily bars, even though it is an intraday. All my settings are exactly the same as my previous intraday chart except the additional data over the past few months added to the text file. How do I fix this? |

When you added data, did you reload all of the data back in? You really need to do so in order to get all the data properly aligned. If you did not, then start there - close the chart and then delete the Intraday file for that symbol (the file is in the Data folder under your main Sierra Chart installation and is the {SymbolName}.scid). Then import the data again and see if everything looks good. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I did close the chart and deleted the intraday file and I still have the same error after I reload the data, it only shows daily bars. I have no idea why this error is happening, all my settings are the same as another intraday chart using similar data which is working fine.

What symbol is that? Must be an issue with the source of the data. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. It is a CSV file that I made downloading bar data from futures contracts for each month, combining it into one file. I've been able to do that successfully in previous editions of Sierra Chart and I can't now that I am using the current version. I don't know what has changed, but its no longer working with the current version.

Nothing has changed within Sierra Chart that we are aware of that would cause a problem.
