Renko Brick up close reports in alert as DOWN!

Hi, I was coding a very simple signal in 2t Renko chart and many wouldn't fire and figured out UP closes sometimes report as DOWN! As you can see not all down bars report as down either. |

I just found the below info, very bizarre but probably as I don't fully understand how renko bricks are formed. SG22 = This is the Renko Open value for Renko bars and can be used in an Alert Condition Formula on the chart itself. For an Alert Condition Formula for a study, the identifier needs to be ID0.SG22 assuming there are no other studies acting as the base graph in the chart. As of version 1734, when using SG22, if the chart is not a Renko bar chart, this will refer to the standard bar Open price without causing any formula error. This allows the use of this particular Subgraph identifier (SG22) even when the chart bars are not Renko and will always refer to the correct Open price. SG23 = This is the Renko Close value for Renko bars and can be used in an Alert Condition Formula on the chart itself. For an Alert Condition Formula for a study, the identifier needs to be ID0.SG23 assuming there are no other studies acting as the base graph in the chart. |
