Hi, I'd like to show an indicator ONLY when an alert event is met. For instance in strong up trend ma20>ma50 I want to show a 3 standard deviation high bollinger band and the bottom one 1 std dev. |

The best way to do this would be to create a custom study that Hides the study when the condition is not met and then Unhides it when the condition is met. Refer to the following: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction A workaround would be to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study and set the Alert to be the opposite of what you want. Then set the study to reference the other study and have the color of the Color Bar be the same as your background. This way the line will not be visible until the alert condition is "not" met. But, this will only show the line from the bar where the condition first is not true and only through to where the condition is true again. Refer to the following: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
