Hello, I have an account with AMP Futures (CQG) I have opened a sub-account that is connected to my main account with the same login and I need to link this account. I read that I need to fill out the form below: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SCOrderRoutingServiceTradingAccountAssignmentRequestForm After sending in this form I will be able to see both accounts in my one copy of SC, correct? Do I need to do anything else? And lastly how long does it take before it is active? Thanks, |

The form you reference is for an older service that we no longer have active. You did not need to fill that out. You should just have the second account available immediately. You should be able to select it from your Trading Window. Refer to the following for how to change your Trading Account: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

John, Thanks for the reply, the issue is somewhere else. I had already tried login in and out and also changing the accounts but there is only there my main account and it doesn't show the subaccount. I confirmed the account is open and funded 2 days ago but yet it does not appear. What other issue might be involved so I may fix it? Please let me know, |

Check with your broker. The accounts should be show up if you use the exact same login to access them (i.e. if you were given the same credentials for CQG to access both accounts). If you were given a separate set of CQG credentials, then the accounts are not going to be accessible within a single Sierra Chart installation.

John, Ok waiting to hear back from AMP. One more question, when I try updating SC (Help / Download Current Version) it always comes back after downloading "ïnstalation completed with errors. Refer to the log and then press the Close button" The last time I tried to do the update via de Zip File I lost my files, is there a way to solve this so I may update? Once again thanks, |

Try the update again, and when it completes with the error, select the button at the top right that states "Send Log to Support". Then post in this thread letting us know that you sent us the log and we will take a look and see what the error is. The Zip Installer should definitely not cause you to lose files. If this occurred, then that means that you unpacked the files into a different folder from the one where your Sierra Chart is installed. If you are going to use the Zip installer, you need to copy the files out of the Zip file and paste them into your main Sierra Chart installation folder. You will get prompted to overwrite files, to which you want to say "Yes" (you want to overwrite them). Your log file shows the following: Error opening C:\SierraChart\SierraChartStudies_64.dll. Windows error code 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
You can not have Sierra Chart running when you perform the install. Make sure you exit from any Sub-Instances and in the Main Instance select Help >> Download Current Version. Then go through the update from there and you should not have a problem.
