Hi,
I'm trying to run SC on a non-admin account on Windows 11 for the first time. When I open the programme, I've noticed there are lots of files and folders now being written to the desktop?

These include Data (folder), backups (folder), Trade account (folder) Accounts4 (config), datafiles folder (text file) and lots more. What's happening?
This doesn't occur when I run SC using a Windows administrator account (and interestingly - it still happens if I simply try to run SC as an admin from the standard user account using the right click option???). I'm sure this is just some setting somewhere which needs amending, but Im not sure where to start - would really appreciate your help.

Thanks again,

ND.

You have installed Sierra Chart to the wrong location! Do not install it to the desktop.

Allow it only to be installed into [Drive]:\SierraChart which is the default.

Completely delete that installation you have on your desktop.

Install Sierra Chart again from this page:

Thank you very much! I have absolutely no idea how that happened. Sorted now. Cheers
