Not connecting - Data issue

Hi, SC. I recently loaded $15 to my account to pay for the recurring services that I use that were set to renew today. I was charged but I got an error message saying unable to log on.

I closed SC and reopened but no avail. Still says not connected. What can we do to fix this?

Looks like you are trying to connect to CQG? Refer to:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

In the meantime:

To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.


Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.

Why would one access historical and streaming market data independent from the Trading service?

If you are not able to connect to your Trading service, then you would want to access the market data from Sierra Chart independent of that service. Otherwise, you cannot access it. This is the reason.
