Morning, Im having issues placing orders how i would like to. Basiclly i would like to be able to place orders as follows, If i wasnt to sell 2 contracts at 4253. i want to be able to either market or limit order (depending on market conditions) then not have a set stop or target. I then wish to be able to set my own stop manually. Then when market falls to a area i feel its time to get out i wish to be able to place a buy order to exit the position. All of this will be performed straight on the DOM also. Not a chart. At present i have managed to place orders which have no stop or target but when it the market placing a Buy/Sell order to act as a stop doesnt do this. When the oder hits there it basically reverses the action. Same goes for a target or take profit. I place an order and it markets me out of the position immediately. It does not place a limit order. I hope this makes sense. I cant really explain it any better i dont think. Thanks, |

Really we definitely recommend always using Attached Orders: Attached Orders You can keep the Stop and Target orders, further away than maybe where you might want to put them, and adjust them later.
