What is the best method to send a drawing to a remote Sierra Chart via ACSIL? Is it possible with UDP? Any specific documentation on this topic? Thanks! |

We would recommend writing the drawing data to a file and then reading it in the other instance of Sierra Chart using the ACSIL file functions.

Are you suggesting this method for remote or local instance of Sierra? I am interested in transferring the drawings to a remote instance on a different system. Also I wonder how can I make this study as a subscription based service. For that to be done, I need to get the username from the remote instance and allow one/two sessions for each user. Any docs to give hints on these? |

If you want to transfer Chart Drawings to another installation of Sierra Chart on a different system then you would need a network connection for that. One thing we are developing that is close to being released is real-time Chartbook sharing. So what you want to do is going to be covered in this functionality because this would include the transfer of Chart Drawings.
