Dear support, i subscribed to sierra chart advanced package (11) on saturday. i will take the first trading steps in simulation mode only. I thought i needed denali Exchange data for simulation mode and first submitted the CME data package for non professional traders at 11 usd per month. i went through the certification agreement too quickly and did not realize that a trading live account was required for that service. I do not intend to open a live trading account for now. i deactivated the service since then (it will end on the 28.02) but still i signed the agreement and i cannot delete it. Is that an issue and what are the consequences? I do not want to be registered as a professional trader. Can you delete the agreement for me? Thanks again for your help, Kind regards |

No issue regarding the agreement. But we cannot refund the 11 USD. You should be able to recomplete the agreement. We will get back to you on this. Hi User826280, you have not been charged for Real-time CME Group Data for February, regarding your interested in Real-time CME Group Futures Data, we must ask do you have a Futures Trading Account? The CME Group expects you to have a Futures Trading Account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional [*Note: we know of only the CME Group having this rule, not EUREX, not CFE, not NASDAQ, not NYSE, just the CME Group*] From the CME Group Certification: "The Non-Professional Subscriber must: a. have an active and funded futures trading account; b. be an individual, natural person or small business entity" "Not having a Futures Trading Account", this situation comes up all the time now: there are Brokers that will open up small Futures Trading Accounts just to help people with this issue, just to help people with the requirement of having a Futures Trading Account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional. One of (1) AMP Futures, (2) Stage5, or (3) EdgeClear would help you here. Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement |
