Hi Sierra Team, I would like to display an array of personal data by price on my chart like the VbP study but with different data (not volumes). How do I do this with ACSIL? Thank you, Richard. |

We looked at this, and this is not supported to be done with ACSIL. Unless you were to draw volume bars using Rectangle drawings which you could do. However, this is different than how the Volume by Price study works. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Maybe it's possible to do that like a heatmap (with my personal data), by using ASCIL ?

You can not create a custom Market Depth Historical Graph directly from your data either. But what we are a bit confused by is why you do not just create an Intraday file for your data replacing the Volume with whatever it is you want to see. Then let the internal mechanisms deal with creating the particular item how you want to see it. I didn't know that it was possible to create "Intraday File". Do you have an example of creating this type of file ? On the other hand, in your first answer to my question, you mentioned the possibility of using Tool Rectangle, but is it possible to make the rectangle stationary, like "stationary text" ? There is not a way to have a rectangle drawing stationary like the Stationary Text option. In terms of creating an Intraday file, refer to the following two items - one for importing data and the other for creating the file itself: Exporting and Importing Intraday Data Files: Import and Load Intraday Data File Format For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for all these clarifications. Concerning the "stationary text", I did not find in your documentation how to configure in ACSIL the option "X-axis %" as on the attached screenshot in order to have the text aligned on the extreme right of the graph. Idem for the option "Link to vertical axis scale" ? |
