I would like to share a workspace with another user so they can receive markup on my charts...

But I read the following from Sierra Chart (Your Sierra Chart Account Name and Password is stored in this file. This file is encrypted. All saved Data/Trade Service settings configurations are also contained in this file).

Is there a way to share a workspace without sharing the login password and trade platform connect info?

Use the File >> Send File to User option. On it, you can select to Send Global Configuration (except account settings). You do not need to select another file to send, just also have their Account Name where it asks for it and then select Send to send them the file without any account information in it. Refer to the following:
File Menu: Send File to User (File)

Yes I understand this is a nice feature. What I am hoping to do is actually extract this file (the workspace) and have it saved in a file on my machine without the password and trade server stuff in it.) Is that possible? would it be something you could do to add a save as button to make it happen? or maybe send a conversion.exe that could strip that stuff out? thank you.

When you mention a workspace what you are describing is a Chartbook and that does not contain any account information. So you just want to send the Chartbook.

And you can use the File Sharing feature for that:

Oh I see, I was confused. if the chartbook does not store Sierra chart logon information or trade seerver logon data then the chartbook file the way it is will be enough.

Thank you.
