Dear support

I attached two charts. I have a question on daily intra day vs historical chart. Both charts run from 9:30 am until 5 pm New York time and EXCLUDE the eth session.

I have a confusion or questions with two things.

1) apparently, the historical chart does chart the times outside the regular trading hours whereas the intraday chart only shows the RTH session altough both charts are set to the same times. How can this be?

2) is it correct that the intrady chart does not allow to convert it to a weekly chart? I tried to change the settings but the field is blocked.

thanks

1) Historical charts are daily and higher timeframes. In this case the data from the exchanges is a 24 hour daily period and the exchange sends the daily data as the Open/High/Low/Close/Volume and that is all. This is different from the Intraday data where each trade is known. Therefore, these are going to be different. For more on this topic, refer to the following:
Historical Chart Prices

2) You should be able to change to a weekly chart. What settings are blocked?
