I've installed SC on a new Windows 11 machine and these 2 lines are scrolling endlessly in the event log.

File compression enabled. S:\SierraPRE\Data\TICK-NASDAQ.scid. CompressionState=0 | 2023-02-16 23:05:36.733

These 2 files are not growing or shrinking.

Suggestions?

That is very unusual and unexpected. We are not sure what the cause is. It is not something which should normally be seen.

Our recommendation is to disable file compression through Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings.
