The Study Angle just gives you the information on the angle that is formed by two data points separated by the "Length" option. It does not allow you to specify an angle and have a study match to it (there is no way to do this for a study). If you are wanting to use the drawing tools to create a specific angle, then refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing a Line with a Specific Angle or Slope For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We really do not understand the question. You can use the Study Angle to show the angle between two data points of the Moving Average. We do not know what you mean by the 45 degree of a moving average?

Yes. This is possible. As you know, Study angle returns a number. So all you need to do is create another alert condition study and do a "Based On" the study angle and select the angle subgraph as input. Then check if the equal to 45"...use a "point on High" in the alert subgraph. It will draw points whenever the angle study touches 45 degrees. My humble advise would be to spend some time and understand how "Based On" works with Alert condition...you will soon realize how extremely powerful this charting package is ! You can literally do all sorts of magical technical analysis via simple alerts. If you know excel, you can code these alerts with a very high degree of complex conditions. |
