I'm having a major problem with a chart of mine. I have used this chart for weeks and it is set to a hollow candle and its volume range 1000. Before closing everything, I saved all of my work, and then closed the SC. Of course, it asked do you wish to save it and I clicked on yes.
Now, I've opened my workbook, the chart is staying in a Minute time frame and will not revert back to volume range.
Two questions
1. Why did this chart open in a different time that I use and saved it in?
2. Why will it not revert back to volume range?
It is acting as is if the chart is corrupted and stuck in its default setting.

I trade off this chart and have put a lot of time into it.
Thank you for your assistance.
Michael

Refer to the following for why a chart will not change the Bar Period:
Unable to Change the Bar Time Period for Charts

If this does not explain it, and if you really feel the chart is somehow corrupted, then you can go back to one of the Backup chartbooks and find one that does not have the problem. Refer to the following for this:

The chart somehow changed to a TPO chart. In the analysis study, there was an TPO study and a volume profile study added that were not there before. They seemed to have been copied from my TPO chart, but I never added them myself.
So, how would SC do this when from closing the chart? The chart wasn't like this when I saved it and closed the workbook.

Sierra Chart did not add the study automatically without some kind of intervention. We can not say how or why this occurred. But you can either modify the chart or go to one of the backups to get things back to where you were.
