Hello Support,

I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a SC Study that shows the figures and have subgraphs for Last Trade Bid Volume and Last Trade Ask Volume, like we can see in the Trade Dom "Recent Bid Volume" and "Recent Ask Volume" columns.

I need it to set an alert when there are imbalances between the Last Traded Bid and Ask Volumes.

Can you please give me directions how to find it or do it?

There are no built-in tools that have access to the DOM Market Depth information. You would have to create a Custom Study to do this. Refer to the information here:
How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code

But it sounds like you might be able to get what you are wanting by using a "Number of Trades" chart set to a value of 1, as this will give you each trade as a new bar. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Number of Trades Per Bar (Chart >> Chart Settings menu)

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply.

I had already tried the "Number of Trades" Study but if I saw it correctly, it only gives me the last trade, not the imbalances between the Last Traded Bid and Ask Volumes.

Regarding creating a Custom Study, I don't know anything about programming, so no deal.

Meanwhile, I have kept searching and I believe I did achieve what I need using two instances of the Study "Volume At Price Threshold Alert V2", set to "Ask Volume Bid Volume Diagonal Ratio" and with "Percentage Threshold" field set to the desired ratio (-/+ for Bid and Ask).

I'm writing this information here to let you and SC users know that's possible to do it.

Any other contribute is welcome though.

Thank you.

We were not suggesting the Number of Trades study, but setting up a 1 Trade chart. That way each bar is a single trade.

Since you are wanting to compare the last trade at Bid versus last trade at Ask, you would have to check the current bar against a few bars back, but it seems like you should be able to get what you want.
