Hi,
Every time I use Sierra software it uses 100% of my CPU time and resources. Everything lags and it is very difficult to use.
This laptop I have is ok, fresh Windows 10 installed and I have SSD drive, ram is not utilized more than 50 at any times and CPU is 100% only when Sierra is in use.

Could you please tell me how to optimize Sierra resource allocation so I can use my laptop for emails etc while using Sierra? It is impossible to use anything else on the laptop when Sierra is on.
Regards
DP

This is highly unusual - for Sierra Chart to be using 100% of the CPU usage. Typically is around 10-20% at most.

The general information on how to optimize Sierra Chart for best performance is at the following link:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

As it states at the beginning of the section linked above, start with section 30.48.

But, since this is particularly odd - we want you to try a few other things as well.
- Make sure the option for Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics is not enabled (no checkmark). If you change this, be sure to exit from Sierra Chart and start the program again.

- Make sure you are not trying to show too much data in a chart, such that the bars are as close together as they can get. When you have this many graphics on the screen, it will be slow to update and when trying to move around the chart the CPU usage will definitely spike.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
