I would like to do some simple calculations using real-time values from SC, like last trade, or bid price, bid qty, offer price, offer qty, and just so some basic math to calculate probability. I see SC has a spreadsheet study capability, however, I do not want to graph anything. I just want to use rea-time market data from SC and input into the spreadsheet to calculate values as they update. How can I achieve this?

That is exactly what the Spreadsheet Study allows you to do, as the Spreadsheet Study automatically displays the Time, Open, High, Low, Close, and Volume of each bar. Additionally, any other studies that are on the chart have their data in the spreadsheet as well, so you can get access to that information.

The main thing that is a bit different about the Spreadsheet Study, as opposed to the regular "Spreadsheet" is that columns K through Z (by default) are considered Calculation Columns, as such when you enter a formula in cell K3, it will automatically fill down through the entire column (as if you did a copy/paste in a typical spreadsheet). Once you play with it a bit it will make a lot of sense.

The information for the Spreadsheet Study can be found starting here:

Hey John-

Thanks for the note. I tried the spreadsheet and looks useful to my objectives. However, I would like to have one main spreadsheet that takes in different symbols and data (sort of like a quote board style) and do everything there. But since it looks like spreadsheet is only per symbol, per chart, do I have to open up a spreadsheet for each symbol in this case?

You may be able to do what you want in the Quote Spreadsheet. Refer to the following:
Getting Quotes: Quotes on Spreadsheets

Otherwise, you would have to open a different sheet for each symbol (chart), but you could have all the sheets within a single Spreadsheet file. Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Spreadsheet Name / DLL File and Function Name

Hey John-

I got the Quote Spreadsheet to work and it's great to do some calculations in there with live data. Two more questions:

1) Can you graph a time series value that you calculated in there? For example, can you graph the average of bid price and ask price over x amount of time?
2) I see basic values for each symbol such as LastTime, Last, DailyChange, Bid, Ask, BidSize, AskSize, etc.... are there more values one can access than the ones here? (please see attached)

1) No, this can not be done within the Quote Spreadsheet, as there is not a way to capture the data as it changes.

for this specific request (Average Bid and Average Ask) - this information is available in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study, so you can get the information from that study per bar. Refer to the following:
Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars Calculated Values Subgraph Descriptions

2) Refer to the following:
Quote Spreadsheet Settings

You could add the same-named spreadsheet study to each symbol's chart, so that each had its own sheet.

Then add a blank sheet to the spreadsheet study that is not associated with a chart, and build a table there by referencing each of the other sheets in the same spreadsheet.

The blank sheet can also be reference from each chart's sheet, so you could reference both ways.

This might get you where you want.

I do what Tom suggests above and it works great. I have a master sheet (not associated with any charts) that reference all my Chart Sheets.

For any graphing I just export to Excel.

these spreadsheets work well. Is there a way to format values such as center-aligned or are they always aligned to the right?

All of the options for the spreadsheet are under the Spreadsheet menu.

There is not an option for alignment within the Sierra Chart spreadsheets.
