While using spreadsheet study, I am entering a formula in row L3, and the formula is not getting dragged across the entire column L, e.g the change made in formula in cell L3 is not being transferred to L4 and to fix this I have to restart sierra everytime, Kindly help or give an easier way to do so

Are you definitely using a Spreadsheet Study and not just a regular spreadsheet? The regular spreadsheets do not have the "Calculation Columns" that copy the formula all the way down the column.

If you have a proper Spreadsheet Study, then check the Input for Number of Formula Columns and ensure this is at least 2. It is set to 16 by default, making the formula columns from K through Z. It would need to be at least 2 to make the L column a formula column.

If the above do not do it, then we would need to see the spreadsheet and the chart in its own chartbook in order to take a look. Refer to the following instructions:

Formula Source Sheet Number input is set to 2. It needs to be set to 1.

Why are the other columns being dragged with this setting and not just the sell one?

This is not clear for us. What other columns are you referring to?
