What if my device is no longer accessible?

In the event that the device (with Sierra Chart) is no longer available/accessible, how can one retrieve and/or transfer chart/settings to a new device? Is it backed up on a server?

Your Sierra Chart data is all local to your system. We do not keep any of this information on our servers. There are backups of the information on your local system as well in the same installation folder. But in terms of keeping the information on another system or backed up to some other drive, that is your responsibility.

Would a copy and paste of all files in C://SierraChart to an external drive be a sufficient method of backing up everything?

That will definitely back up everything, but is a bit of overkill, as you can always get the data back, as long as you are using our Denali Exchange Data Feed, so you do not need the data files, which can take up a lot of space.
