I have asked Barchart for their symbol for this data item, but they say they don't have one (except in their Premium platform) and to contact Sierra Chart. They tell me the formula is as follows: ESM3+($INX*-1). So, what do you say...is there a way to do it in Sierra Chart? I assume it would be easy in the Spreadsheet function, though I would prefer to simply have a discrete chart that displays the result of the formula. Furthermore, I would guess it could be done via a spread chart. Would that be the case? Thanks for your help! |

You can open charts for both of those symbols and use the Difference study between them. Please see: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s3 We would recommend that you set this up using 1 Minute charts.
