I have iQFeed as my data on one instance of SC and IB trading on another. I have the data setting to download tick data for the last 30 days but its only showing the last 5 days on the intraday chart. In chart settings it shows date range in file 4-25 to 4-30. I have it set to download 30 days worth however. How to I force it to download the data? And in what instance do I need to make the changes? |

You need to make this change within the copy connected to the iQFeed. Follow through the instructions in help topic 42.1 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails42.html#h42.1 Although, when it comes to modifying the Chart >> Chart Settings, you need to do this in the copy connected to Interactive Brokers. How do I get the current days daily to update on my trading instance. The current day on the daily shows up on the source instance, but not on my trading instance. I think the daily is pulling from the historical data? The intraday instructions worked perfectly, btw.

You need to set the Alternate Real-time Update Symbol as explained in step 9 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/MultipleServices.html#Sharing Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
