Order Adjustments via Chart Across Multiple Instances

I am running into issues with adjusting an order via drag and drop on the chart. I have two separate instances both running intraday charts of the same underlying. The current order configuration I am using is a simple "2 target - equal stop". If I place an order to buy 2 contracts in a chart in instance 1, I am able to drag the "Buy limit" bar up or down to adjust the order and it moves the limits for both contracts at the same time. I am able to do it on any chart in instance 1. The problem occurs when I try to adjust the order on any chart in instance 2, instead of moving both limits together it will only adjust one order and keep the other at the initial price. This same exact scenario occurs when you flip the instance numbers, (open order in instance 2 charts, able to adjust both limits at same time in instance 2 charts, instance 1 charts only moves one limit each time). *Before posting I have: - Copied "sierra4.config" from instance 1 to instance 2 - Verified general trade, chart trade and order settings are the same across both instances Other weird glitches I have found: - Order association lines: if order is opened on instance 1 chart, order association lines (even though enabled) will not display in instance 2 charts. Whats weird is if you open the order on an instance 2 charts, the association lines show on both instances - Order cancellation confirmation: if order is opened in instance 1 chart you cannot cancel it without hitting a second confirmation in instance 2 charts (presumably because instance 2 recognizes the order as two limit buys rather than a single order with larger size) |

Yes this does make sense: The problem occurs when I try to adjust the order on any chart in instance 2, instead of moving both limits together it will only adjust one order and keep the other at the initial price. To avoid this issue only adjust, the orders, from the instance it was initiated in. This is just how it is. It has to do with linking information that only exists within the instance itself. This makes sense and just as how it is: - Order association lines: if order is opened on instance 1 chart, order association lines (even though enabled) will not display in instance 2 charts. Whats weird is if you open the order on an instance 2 charts, the association lines show on both instances At first we were confused by what you were describing here, but we realize, that you are getting 2 confirmations within the second instance when also canceling the orders within that same second instance. This does make sense. - Order cancellation confirmation: if order is opened in instance 1 chart you cannot cancel it without hitting a second confirmation in instance 2 charts (presumably because instance 2 recognizes the order as two limit buys rather than a single order with larger size) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
